I have bittersweet feelings when people say God is all about love. I’m not saying He isn’t because He is. However, when you look around at the world, it’s not a happy place, it has never been happy, and it will never be happy. For the majority, this world has been a place of suffering and after it will be a place of suffering. I’ve struggled with this. God isn’t love then. God lets this happen. God knew when He created the world that this would happen. The world is truly a sad story for many, many, many people.

Romans 8:18, “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” This is how we keep ourselves sane in this tragic world. There is something far, far, far greater. There is something that is worth God enduring the sadness of seeing so many of His people perish. I don’t necessarily know what it is, eternity with him maybe? I don’t know, but I trust the Father. And that’s about all I got on that.
